About MCFSC

Manitowoc County Figure Skating Club was started in 1998. There are over 100 members of the club today. MCFSC is affiliated and its events are sanctioned by USFSA. The goal of the organization is to promote and expand the sport of figure skating.

MCFSC holds its activities at the Manitowoc County Ice Center.

MCFSC operates 2 skating groups. Learn-to-Skate Skaters and Club Skaters. Learn-to-Skate skaters are children from 4 ½ through adult who want to learn basic skating skills for recreational and social skating. Club Skaters are skaters who started in the Learn-to-skate program and have passed a skating level of Basic 4, but want to enhance their skating skills more rapidly and may want to participate in figure skating competitions.

MCFSC also holds an annual Ice Show for both its Learn-to-Skate and Club skaters to complete the Winter Ice season and perform their talents of all levels of skaters. In addition to the Ice Show, MCFSC has two Exhibitions (one in Summer, one in late Fall) for skaters who are participating in the Club Ice program. These exhibitions allow these skaters to perform their individual ice programs that they have been taught through the Club Ice program. All of these events are open to the public.
